Thx for the comments.
I used multiplex 4mm and carton 1mm to draw the pattern for the leather.
The door puller is from a Nissan, covered in the same leather.
The leather i ordered local and send to a contact in Asia for the weave.
when it came back i had it ironed whit a poly backing to have it stay in shape.
Door speaker grills i bought at a car swap, they told me they where from a English car.

I think the colour turned out nice.
What i like about it that, some do not like it and some go crazy about it.
Added F pop out windows, and had the trims anodized new.

That color is beautiful - it looks sort of like Slate Grey - i.e. McQueen. Did you eyeball that or is there an actual formula - I would love to paint my 89 that shade. Great build, by the way.

Car is on its wheels!
I chose for Braids as i did not want to wait a few months for a resto set.
Only polished the lip, good enough for this project.

Rear bumper took a lot of adjustment, took some search to find the proper length rubber whit a sealed beginning.

Happy whit this old Talbot's that still look fresh.
Was lucky it still had a set of base rubbers for between door and mirror
