Wipers do not work

I purchased this car and just found out the wipers do not work. I'm hoping someone can give me a starting point. I opened up the fuse box and it looks like fuse number six is empty. Does anyone know where the wire to terminal number 6 originates from?

That is fuse 16 as per Porsche factory schematics.
Used for fuel pump relay for years 76 and newer.
Spare on earlier years.
Wiper is fed from bottom of fuse 13, 3 to the right of the blank fuse location.
White/red wire that is barely visible.
Check under the dash above the brake pedal that the 6 pin connector from the wiper stalk is fully engaged.

I think you nailed it.... I'm guessing the connector that plugs in comes from the stalk? If so I'm not seeing anything around there might need to dig deeper in the wires.
