MFI Throttle Body Rebuild Questions
I'm sending out some MFI throttle bodies to be rebuilt for a client. ('69 911E) I'd like to hear from anyone who recently had this done.
1. What is the best shop? Eurometrix? (I'm in So. California, so the closer the better.) 2. What was the turnaround time? 3. Price? (With shipping factored in.) 4. Should I send the intake stacks along with? I'd like them to match for aesthetic restoration reasons. (These are the early-style Magnesium.) Also, a separate issue: Are MFI pump reseal kits available? The pump is very low mileage, but is leaking externally.

Tyson, I've used Eurometrix but it's been so long ago that the prices would not translate. Gus Pfister (sp?) will sell you the re-seal kit for the pump. I did one last winter, 100 bucks for all the seals. He swears by 3M weatherstrip adhesive as a gasket sealing compound. I used it and it does not leak...

Tyson,
Eurometrix has a website now complete with pricing info for throttle body repairs. I talked with them last month, and you're talking in the 750 range + shipping. Anything else costs additional bucks, stack painting to match, re-cadding crossbar, polishing fuel lines etc.... The address is on my laptop, but I am sure a search would provide all th info you need.
