Voltage to CSV Microswitch

Hi guys

Just in the process of checking my micro switch wiring for the CSV on a 74 911. The switch seems to be working but I am wondering what the voltage across it should be when cranking ? Mines showing about 9.8V. I was expecting something more around 12V ?

Anyone have any info on this ?

Cheers Daren

If your battery is a little weak, with the draw from the starter it may well be dropping that low.
