Sorry just now seeing this. My hazards always worked even with the turn signal buzz. I would recommend starting at the fuze panel and checking connection, then working your way through the circuit.

I know this wasn't my thread but I finally got to the bottom of my own flasher problem after checking most connections.
Just replaced the flasher relay and had a quick check on the flasher signals and hazard switch and all seems fine.
Thanks to anyone who replied to my comments including Gerry (86 911 Targa) who pmd me the schematics.
