The morning news report makes it sound like a 993 turbo.
So what electrical is there that would light off in the passenger rear corner?

From the stream of fire behind it, a fuel hose probably let go. If it was a 993, thanks filter assembly is in that corner.

Pretty much. Or spewing oil over the track. Mind you, i am now part of the tow of shame club after my battery gave out mid lap...
