Anyone know how to use a Hawk Exhaust Analyzer
I purchased a cheap exhaust gas analyzer made by Hawk. It did not come with any instructions and I'm not sure how to calebrate and use. Any advice would be great.

Plug it into a tailpipe of a modern car at idle. Should read ~14.7 when the car is warmed up.

If it were me, I would do a search on ebay and offer $5-10 bucks to one of the sellers, to copy the manual and sell-send it to you.

That will be my next step. I generally understand how to use this except for the calibration part. I'm not sure how to do this and where to set it at.

Reviving old thread, has anyone gotten one of these to work? I bought one for $5 at a swap meet, hoping it wasn't too good to be true (but may be)...it worked once, well it gave a reading once, but after that I can't get the balance knob to do anything. Check setting causes needle to move to green/good -- but I can't adjust it into Balance with the knob -- nothing happens when I turn it. Anyone have success with one of these cheapies?
