Window regulator pivot replacement

My window regulator pivot (not in the center of the spring, but at its outer ring) in the passenger side door has failed...which may be related to the power window motor dying. So now that everything's apart in my garage, which replacement pivot should I buy? I need the perpendicular one--I understand that. But what's the difference between the 23 mm and 26 mm ones? (PEL-910392 vs PEL-910394?) And what holds the pivot to the regulator. I see where it goes, but is it just a press fit? Does a second piece attach to it on the other side of the regulator flange to keep it from popping right out of place once the spring is attached?

Hope this thread helps you. As far as I´m aware the inner is the 26mm and the outer is the 23mm

Correct me if I'm wrong but the part your looking for doesn't exist. I think you have to make your own. Those part numbers are for the spring center.

You may be right. Which is why I've specified in my post that it's the outer little post (not the center around which the spring is wound) which is broken. I tried a search, and while my problem seems common, there certainly seems to be some confusion on which piece is called the pivot. And, the only pictures of repairs are the jerry-rigged (not jury-rigged ) ones.

Again, my problem is the piece that holds the outer flange of the tensioning spring has sheared off, not the one at center of the spring.

Yeh they don't make or sell that part you have to fabricate one, look around there's some threads on it.

So, FWIW, I took a #12 machine screw (3/4" length), stuck it through the smallish hole vacated by the base of the broken window regulator pivot thingie, and Locktited 4 little nuts on it to recreate a post for the outer end of the regulator spring. Winding the spring around it was easily accomplished with vise grips. I had to file down the button head of the machine screw a little to allow for clearance of the articulating regulator arms. In the end, an easy-peasy $1.18 fix. I decided to at least attempt to fix this problem, as my power window motor died (possibly as a result of increased load due to the spring not working properly given the broken pivot?) and it's a $350 part to replace.

Option B would have been to tack weld a little steel replacement pivot, but I don't weld.
