Decel valve bypass

My Decel valve has likely died. When disconnecting one that's suspected of a diaphragm failure is in necessary to unhook and plug all hoses to and from, or just the smaller vac hose?
Thx.

If just the diaphragm has broken, then I think you only need to plug the little hose that pulls on the diaphragm.

If you also have a leak on the valve portion itself, it's best to plug all three hoses.

They're pretty easy to test - Vacuum pump on the diaphragm side and see if it holds vac.

Cool - Would like to hear what kind of improvement you feel with the MSD.
