Can you replace the glove box?

Not the door, but the actual glove box itself.

Some dummy, back in the day, installed a Sony "powa boosta" eq in the glove box. In order to make it fit, they cut a hole in the back of the glove box. Grrrrrr.

I'm taking all that garage out next week and will be left with a hole.

So can you replace the box itself? The door itself is in very good shape.

Absolutely super simple job all you do is pull the door down there's a screw that attaches to the strap that hold the cardboard box and place once you remove that screw the strap comes off and the Box drops down the boxes are replaceable I would go to Stoddard or find a good used one online always try to put back original parts

Yes you can. I think I still have a spare box up in my box of parts. If you want it I can take a look and send you some pics. I'd be very reasonable on price as I have no use for it.

Tell you what, let me know what is reasonable for you. I know it has some water lines in it so it will need to be reconditioned so let me know what you think and it's yours. Make sure you include shipping.

Thank you but i"m looking for something more plug and play. I wouldn't even know where to begin with cleaning that up. Way outside my skill set.

Appreciate the help everyone. I went ahead and bought the one from stoddard. Still can't believe it was almost $250 for a glove box insert. Yikes.
