They Orginal ly were not reading correct. Readjusted bracket to .8 mm they are reading correct now . TDC .04 and rpm 1.5v on cranking. Had dme checked. Now what?? Sorta at loss. Cleaned a couple grounds. We're would you guys go from here. Did find this wire loose? Any ideas??

Is that a no spark thing? I thought that would let it run. Just be rough cause it thinks it's cold??

Loose one is likely the blower motor connector.

Timmy is most likely correct. The wire in your hand is for the blower motor. Not needed for car to start.
By DME, are you referring to the relay, or the brain? Do you have another car where you could install your ECU to rule that out? Any Pelicans in your area?

I'm sure he swapped a DME relay with another known working car at the track last weekend. Also they tested the DME and it was functioning properly.
I wonder if moisture was part of the problem, he was driving in an IDS and wet skid pad which soaked muddy water onto everything! This was shortly before he couldn't get it restarted.

Fuel pump will only run when the engine is running or the key is in the start position.
First thing to do is turn the key to on and hold the idle control valve. You should feel a very slight vibration.

Counterclockwise?

Are you the car I helped push start at the accident avoidance course?
If so, as I said at the time, I think both problems are related.(Or you have s##t luck) Go back to basics and see if you are getting good power from your battery.
