Bruce Anderson's Tune up class next weekend
Anyone else doing it? I am signed up already. I talked to him about it and it sounded like I could use it.

I'll see you there. I'll have my black Porsche hat on.
But isn't it on the 14th though? |

Yes, it is on the 14th. I had a momentary lapse of life there.. Holiday stuff.
See you there. I will be the shaved head guy with the funky glasses.

I did an early version, got a huge amount out of it. They dial the class based on audience. Starting with some good vibes, you should have a lot of fun!

HELP - need location and time for class
HELP, Help, help . . . Urgent
I am supposed to be at BA's tuneup class tommorrow, except I lost* his email with the address and start time. Can anyone post that info or, if you think that's a bad idea, email it to me? johnliu@earthlink.net Thanks. * OK, I didn't "lose" it, it's on my work email and I don't really want to venture out in the pouring rain and drive across the Bay Bridge (with the infamous steel plates) and go into the office on Friday night just to get on my computer.

BA's classes usually take place at Jerry Woods' place. (Jerry Woods Enterprises, 491 McGlincey Lane #1, Campbell, California 95008 was the address of last year's class)

Yup, everything worked out, I got there and just arrived back home.
Not the best day to drive from Berkeley to Campbell but at least my car's underside should be nice and washed down. Thanks again to everyone who helped out.

This was a great class.
It's geared towards basic maintenance, that needs to be performed on a 911. I would recommend it to any 911 owner that wants to start doing their own valve adjustments and so on. Even though I have been doing my own maintenance and repair work for the last two and a half years, I learned some new things to help me out. It was cool to meet fellow SC owner Brad. John sorry I didn't even realize you were there, untill I read this post again. |

I second all of that. It was great to put some faces to some names. Hey Matt, do you think that my car falls ito being part of the World Domination Plot? What does it need? A sticker? Hey after the middle of January I would like to get a Bay area drive together if we have good weather. Any takers? Thinking down southernly direction maybe down the 1.

I was kind of under the weather, hence not too social during the class.
I liked the class a lot though - probably will start doing some maintenance on the 911 come spring. I think the most valuable thing for me was getting to experience what 0.004" feels like and how to get the feeler blade in position. Oh, and learning that I really should own a stubby socket drive. Now, if they'd covered dash and windshield replacement that would really have been timely . . .
