According to the red book, in 76 16" wheels were optional for the turbo but I didn't see where it specified wheel width.

Reading further down the page, it does say 7jx16 and 8jx16 became standard for the turbo in 77.

There were no 16" wheel options in '76 for 911 or for 930
7 & 8 x15 w/ 205/50 &225/50 tires was standard on 930 optional on 911 Carrera 3.0 also available on C3 was 7 & 8 x15 w/ 185/70 & 215/60 tires For '77 7 & 8 x16 were standard on 930, w/ 205/55 & 225/50 tires, Carrera 3.0 had 6 & 7 x16 w/ the same tires or 7 & 8 x15 w/ 185/70 & 215/60
