How do i fined the Engine number

Hi I have a 69 T that has had a rear end collision and the place where the engine number should be is missing ?
Where can i fine the original engine number?
I have the chassis number

Do you have pict right side engine near alternator.

To find the engine serial number look where the arrow is pointing in the picture below:

Thanks for the reply , The lug where the engine number should be was smashed off in the rear end collision, is there any other place on the car i would find the correct number ?

If that was broken off, you do not have a motor left.

You can have your engine number if you get COA .Your engine must be in pretty bad shape and useless.
