I'm here everyday, but just mostly read. I'm going to do my best to post a picture.
A new 911 race engine was born this month. I know how we all love pictures....so here goes the attempt. |

Dear Santa,
If I find an engine like that under the tree I promise to be good for the next 10 years. Your devoted child, Moses

I'll post some more about the engine tomorrow. The engine and car are going to duplicate a 74RSR. When a customer saw my engine he wanted his done the same way. Great shot. 2 race engines ready for next year. All powder coated except shroud.

Chris, he said those parts are powder coated. There are powder coatings for nearly every color or texture.
Thanks for posting the pics. Those are truly beautiful engines.

I got a couple of minutes before I head to the basement.
Thanks guy. But I have gained sooo much from this board. The car itself is coming along just as nice. It should be ready for the track in the next 2 months. Something about a 911 with 11" front fenders and 14" rear flares. The car is as nice as the engine. Franz Blam Racing assembled the engine and rebuilt the tranny - I can't say what a great experience it has been working with them. I tore the engine down and took it to them in pieces. Actually 2 engines- that's a story in itself. The cams came out of a late 70's IMSA-GT car. Real RSR Porsche cams. Fraz also landed me some RSR rockers at a reasonable price. Richard at PMO - A top notch person to deal with. Someone who really loves Porsches and takes pride in his product. The headers are Bursch that have been Jet-Hot coated. Powder coating is the future. The whole chasis was powder coated. So much has been done to this engine I would have to pull out all the receipts. The problem is they are in a safe away from the wife. Paul |

I've always wanted to meet and work with Franz Blam. He really knows his stuff, as I'm sure you found out.
Please tell us about the ignition. I bet this thing flies. Good luck, David Duffield |

MrKJBlue:
It has twin-plug heads; they're going to the other set of sparkplugs.
