My parts are starting to trickel in for my front end rebuild project. I recieved 2 Lucas (French company) brake caliper rebuild kits. When I opened 1 box, I had enough seals/boots/clips to rebuild 2 calipers. I bought the Lucas kits as they were a little more expensive thinking they were of better quality, but it looks like I paid for quantity...hmmm.
Anyone have any experience with the Lucas brand caliper kits, or any specific kits you endorse? TIA, -Charlie Last edited by kstylianos; 12-19-2002 at 06:17 PM.. |

Pelican Caliper Rebuild Kit
Charlie,
No idea on the Lucas kit. I recently rebuilt my rears with the kit from Pelican and installed Ferodo pads. Good kit, all the parts appeared to be high quality. You will have to bleed the brakes when you re-attach the calipers and bleed the brakes. If you don't have a bleeder you pick up the Motive Powerbleeder. It makes the job too easy. Gordo
