early window frames
need to get some early window frames re-chromed. Anyone know of a really good plating shop that could do that, really good quality?

Window frames from 1968 on are aluminum & are anodized; 1967 & earlier were brass frames & are chrome plated.

Thanks Chris!
Gary, it looks like you have a 70 which would have aluminum frames, and I do reanodize those to as new. If not for the 70 and you need chrome done, I also do chrome. The shop I use regularly does the chrome for vintage Bugattis, Ferraris, Gullwings, etc. They are one of the best chrome shops, for vintage cars, in the world.

Well, hello Shaun. What I have is a pair of earlier than 70 brass, I think, frames with wing windows. My desire is to restore them and install in the 70. Yes, I know, it's not "factory" but my first Porsche was a 66 912 with wing windows. I grew up with wing windows. I am definitely interested in your chrome shop.
Let me send you a pm and work out the details.
