Gold RSR finish FUCHS anyone?

Trying to visualize if anyone here has tried painting their FUCHS in matt gold in RSR finish? Still undecided if I will stick with standard finish or something different for a guards red coupe. Recently acquired a set of 7&9x16s and is currently being dechromed.

I used Porsche platinum gold metallic on my wheels. It's a bit milder than bbs gold.

Do you have a picture of your car to share? It would be helpful to see the color combo.

I plastidipped a set of 17" Euromeisters a while back to get an idea of what it would look like. Will re-do in a more permanent method next time the tires get changed. Hope these pictures help.

I think it's an especially good looking combo with Red or White cars. Black isn't bad either, but Red with Gold Fuchs, preferably with polished lip, is a really nice look.

The Magnus Walker Fifteen52 Outlaw wheels give you some insight what gold RSR might look like?

thanks for the inputs. The one by froggert is what I am after but the color would be close to what Kevin said about the 1552 outlaws

Love that wheel. Not necessarily the color for me but the design is killer.

Numerous variations on actual finish color... been looking for a paint code for the "proper" RSR" gold finish. No, its not BBS gold.

How painful was the masking, those look good. Did you simply use the gold metalizer?

Thanks. It was just done with Plastidip's vintage gold. No clear coat or metalizer. Masking wasn't any worse than masking for paint would be. The real pain was peeling the tape off before the Plastidip dried.

I'm thinking of painting my fuchs gold and wanted to find out what is the recommended paint color that is closet to the factory gold Fuchs option? Any ideas?

One poster used Plastidip's vintage gold but that looks a little darker than others I've seen.

any assistance appreciated.

BBS gold is hard to find nowadays. Würth no longer offers their gold paint that was a good match. Try this

Wow, didn't realize they didn't make these anymore. Kind of surprised to be honest.

Was lucky to auction a set of golden anodized Fuchs wheels (7/8x15") at an unbeatable price. Real "peaces of art" and so far I would not risk to have tires mounted and risk to damage the impeccable surface.
