A/C Hi-Lo Pressure switch.

Pull the switch apart.
No, really! The rubber part pulls off with the wires. It's a tight fit, pull hard. On the part of the switch that is exposed, it will show the high and low pressure cut off values. Problem is, it's probably in metric, so it'll be something like 2 and 28 kg/cm^2. To convert to pounds per square inch, take the values and multiply by 14.22 (14 is good enough). I have two switches on my workbench, both are on at 2 kg/cm^2 (basically 28 psi), while they turn off at 24 and 28 kg/cm^2 (336 and 392 psi).

Shuts it off when below about 28psi, and above about 350 psi. Allows it to run between those numbers.
So, it shuts it of if you lose all pressure, or if there is a blockage and you over pressurize the system.
