radio delete plates,
boy does that bring back memories, I retored a copo9561 69 427 camaro and paid $425.00 for the correct piece of plastic. But since we are on the subject of Porsche I also have an original 911 rs radio delte plate part #911.552.436.02 that I would part with for a dear sum. let me know. keith epperly 87 slant nose cabriolet carrera. |

I cut a piece of wood to the required Diameter and wrapped it with leather

oh. no sorry thats not an original delete plate , I made it myself out of card board and flat black paint! That really will add
value! Besides wood and leather weigh much more than this fine snap in plastic piece. Keith |

The radio delete plate is still vailable at the dealer (about 12$), and I'm surprised Wayne doesn't carry it. Beware it is a schintzy piece of plastic that feels like it will pop out at the first pothole.
You'd be way beter off building a plate yourself. Or go to any dealer and ask for one. The very few cars that get delivered without radio will have som plate there. I got one from a BMW dealer a while ago, free. GeorgeK |

thanks everyone... for some silly reason i had thought the delete plate would be some finely crafted piece of aluminium... plastic you say... i guess like most others i will make my own.

anyone have a picture of it???
I've got a radio delete in my 912, it's a black piece of plastic with PORSCHE in silver letters across it. I'd like a little background if it's rare... sjd I can post a pic if needed.

I really wasn't kidding about the radio delete plate for the
COPO I built the delete plates were very rare, along with heater delete block offs, were selling for big bank when they could be found. Anyone with pieces like that should hold on to them. Keith |
