Quality of replacement rear targa windshield

Hi everyone, my rear windshield is tired: the heating wires are almost all gone and it looks like someone forgot to take it off before sandblasting. Has anyone purchased a new one (i.e. does it fit?) or am I better off stalking the internet waiting for one to come up? It would be for a 72 targa. I searched this and the early911 forums to no avail.

Any advice, facts, or fiction greatly appreciated!

Dario

I can tell you from experience that getting a new seal on the new rear targa window is a complete MOFO. Even factory NOS seals are a complete Whore.

Hi, thanks for input and the installation links (never too many of those), I will try to wait it out and find a decent used one. If anything, I guess this is one part that doesn't rust on a 911!!
