In the mid-70's Road & Track magazine did an article about a guy who liked his 912 engine so much he built a gas-powered scale model of it.
I remember thinking at the time that it was too bad he didn't own a 911 instead.

Looks like he mounted the muffler upside-down...
 Otherwise, a very cool model.
