Rads- that's definitely a 16. I've found on a few supplier's sites that the pictures aren't fully accurate (including with Euromeisters). Check this link for an accurate 15" Maxilite Fuch (identical to the Fuchs look):

All Maxilite TÜV documents are made by
TÜV Rheinland CHINA, Wuxi ! These TÜV documents are NOT made in Germany ! |

That´s correct.
No German TÜV assistant will work with these Chinese documents and nobody here confirm them. It is not allowed to drive the wheels here in Germany. If something goes wrong no insurance will pay. There are only some crasy people here which drive them on their Porsche or Mercedes cars but they are not interest in any TÜV confirmation. |

Thank You! |
Now that's sneaky/underhanded... not that it affects my use of these wheels, but shoot.
|
Their page says german TUV at least for some whells that I checked?
Where can I find the weight for real fuchs 9/16 MX190016A-MX190016A, weights 8.3kg |
Sadly not uncommon. Many Chinese suppliers are willing to forge any paperwork or label necessary to sell a product. TUV cert, BPA free etc. There just aren't any significant international repercussions for doing so.

I believe there are TUV test houses now in China! Ask TUV they should be able to confirm. I have been importing from China electrical products and all test houses have offices and labs in China due to the global manufacturing done there. Semko ASTA ...... |
I have TÜV Austria paperwork for my Maxilites. Will see in the next few weeks if the German authorities accept them.
|
Intardnet cant tell the correct weights as some pages say 9.1kg 20lbs and others say 7.5kg 15lbs for 9/16 fuchs. If these maxilites are 8.3kg its not bad at all.

Any german pelicans who know these wheels?
Replica A friend of mine has them (9+11 15"), looks nice, light and do handle track abuse (so far...). |

911 Wheel Weights Kudos to Pelican member 911pcars for keeping the page active for so many years. Some of the links he provides to other wheel info pages by other members have gone dead |
Did anybody got these wheel since the last post ?
I'm just wondering, since now the Hoosiers A7 come in a usable size for 15" wheels. 245/40 and 275/35 Cheers Engelbert |
Cast wheels manufactured to replicate forged originals are suspect (weaker) unless the design compensates for the reduced strength castings provide. That's why they're inevitably heavier.
|
I just purchased these for my 85 944 but my cookie cutter center caps do not work on these wheels but I was told they would work, anybody have these 15x7 and 15x8 and which style center cap did you use. Thanks, Mike

i have a set on my track car also. |
Just one word on the Maxilites, though the technical documents were issued by TÜV Rheinland in China (which is a subsidiary of the German TÜV) these rims get the approval of the German TÜV without any issues and are meanwhile quite common in Germany. I have them on my car since 2015, no problems at all!
|
Why use replicas? On the phone, they mentioned that price should be around $6-700...
