You measure the center bore. 7 and 9J center bore is 71.6mm. I'm custom widening 2 sets of these wheels for a customer of Emory Motorsports now. His customer and mine wouldn't buy junk. He's having Emory do 2 356s as I write. Here is a set of 7 and 8J x 16s a customer just purchased. Stock tire sizes 205//55 and 225/50s 👍🏼 And these are now German TÜV approved as far as I know but I will confirm this and report back. Also, I sell these wheels just slightly over Wholesale and best everyone's prices by a longshot. No BS.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1570067655.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1570067655.jpg And here is a deep 6 in classic finish (Maxilite calls it RSR?) Its a well made wheel. I was surprised. An 8J x 15 weighs 15 pounds for reference. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1570067807.jpg |

Shipped anywhere in the 48 for $20 ea wheel👍🏼 |
In this thread someone posted something to the effect that these wheels had a "Chinese TUV certification" so I checked into this with Maxilite engineering and copied that thread link. Here is their reply:
"Dear Matt, the thread you sent me is a personal opinion of someone without any hard facts. It is obviously written by someone who does not know what TÜV means. Our European TÜV certificates are not based on any “Chinese documents”. TÜV is a Certification process. They test our wheels and as a result of the tests they issue the certificate. Some facts of the TÜV safety and quality inspection: 1.) It is basically a test, which verifies if the wheel is strong enough to sustain the weight of the vehicle respecting all the safety standards and laws. The test consists of a simulation of a 120.000(!) kilometer ride full with curves, with a car fully loaded. 2.) TÜV certifies for which car a certain wheel is adequate, and if it is not fully adequate, if there have to be done some modifications on the vehicle in order to use the respective wheel. 3.) TÜV also certifies the factory, meaning that it ensures that the production processes are designed to guarantee a constant quality level. Please find attached the certificate of the 6x15 Fuchs style wheel. It is written in German, but just the get an idea of the extension of the TÜV certification process. For further details about our TÜV ertifications, please don´t hesitate to ask me. Best, Florian" |
