Webbers on a 2.4 need help!

When I pulled the CIS off I relized the webber manifolds were not going to fit with the injector bosses. Are they removable? What needs to be done for the manifolds to fit? Thanks.

You have a 73.5 with CIS, yes?

Remove the CIS intake runners completely. The Weber manis will bolt to the heads directly.

You will need to plug the CIS injector holes. Get plugs from PMO.

chuck, what rudy is asking is that there is a metal sleeve that is in the heads. the sleeve that the injector slides into will not clear the manifolds. will the sleeve pull out and then you plug the hole or do you have to cut it off.

Are you talking about the thin aluminum sleeve? It has a rubber seal inside it that the injector slides into.

I'm having problems visualizing how this could cause clearance issues with the manifolds. Can you post a picture.

I have this same setup on my car and the injector sleeves remain in place.
