early 915 input shaft seal

I've gone through search and there are many articles.

Is there 1 comprehensive article to show/explain how to replace the seal from outside?

Thanks
Tom

What is the year of your box? The reason that I am asking is the early input shaft seals can only be done from the inside which means the whole transaxle needs to be taken apart to do so. I think that they changed in 1974 sometime to not have to do this.

To do the 72 I put, the case has to be disassembled and installed from inside.
