the brown chain ramp
Hi, anybody know why it's brown? Looks to be the same as the black ones. Also should one use a little rtv on the washer and bolt head when installing them? thanks john

I dont know why it is brown, but I have always heard not to use RTV anywhere inside the motor and have followed this advice.

+1, No RTV in engine.
Brown, just to be annoying?, But more important is which direction they face.

It's a different-shorter height--and as Draco says-they all have the longer end pointing at the nearest gear.
