engine tin part number help for backdate
my car didn't really have any of the heating hooked up when i purchased it and I'm planning to convert it to a backdated heat setup to make it a usable vehicle come the colder months.
Looking at the tins, are there certain years that I need to purchase for? I have the two ducts that attach to the engine shroud and direct air to the sides of the engine bay. Looking for the other items to connect to the exhaust manifolds. Car is an 83 SC.

Since you already have the "Heater sockets," you mainly just need the side pieces with the holes for the hoses to pass through. They came on a bunch of different engines, so you can look for whatever is available or cheapest. I think '83 already has this on the right side?

I haven't given this much thought lately but i'm going to be starting on the engine assembly soon and will need to have these items sooner than later. The tins that I have aren't in the best shape. The longer rear tin for instance has a slice cut out for some reason. No clue why. The others are a bit bent and rusty. So i'd like to look at what options are available.
I see these items used are demanding way more than I would have thought. But its an option. I also found some fiberglass items that look like they might be a reasonable option ~$500ish for these. I could try to refurbish mine and replace only the pieces that are cut or really bad. Are there any aftermarket items available besides the fiberglass options?
