I'm a very satisfied customer as well. Installed the Programable WUR in my 74 Carrera about a year ago now and couldn't be happier. When I had the motor rebuilt to 2.9 Ltr the original CIS was simply inadequate and was running much too lean throughout the entire rpm range causing annoying hesitation on acceleration.

Interested in buying those WUR's as cores if you have no need for them. PM sent. Tony |

Any response or comment to posts #37 and #39?

Steve, Could you comment on the two (2) previous posts (#37 & #39)? They are pretty serious allegations that questions your integrity. We would like to hear your side of the story. This is your opportunity to answer some of the allegations about your integrity and your reputation is in jeopardy (?). Take your time and when you are ready.........We would be waiting and listening for your story. Tony |

Ronnie, That link you attached has 55 pages!!!! This is probably one of the few longest threads in this forum. And would probably take a whole day to read them through, so just read the first 3 and last 3 pages. No need to waste valuable time. Thanks. Tony |
The last post on that link was in 2012, lot of stuff can change in that amount of time. The customer service issues are pretty troublesome to me, but the tech seems like it could really help make a car run smoothly.
Tony, As a very highly respected CIS master, do you think/know if WURs and fuel distributors degrade over time even if the pressures and spray patterns/volumes are good? So even if everything appears fine, it might not run smoothly through all RPMs and loads like a new or rebuilt unit would? Thanks and thanks for everything you do to help the all of us. Rutager |
Just another DIY'er..........

Rutager, I don't know of any part that does not deteriorate over time particularly in CIS. Even with brand new WUR and FD, there are several parts that could contribute to erratic engine performance. Fuel injectors, CDI, spark plugs, ignition distributor, ignition timing, cam timing, ignition coil, incorrect fuel mixture, undetected air leaks, bad fuel, electrical, ECU, OXS, etc. come to mind. BTW, I am no expert just another avid CIS enthusiast. Tony |
