Did I buy the wrong heater hose? '83 SC

My heater hose from Pelican came in the mail today. I ordered the "Heat Exchanger to Blower Motor, right 911 and 911 Turbo (1975-89), with A/C" hose. Doesn't seem to be the right one.

When I ordered it I looked at the pictures and figured this had to be the one. Specified in the comments section of my order, I needed the one that runs between A/C and alt and below the A/C (not sure if the one I selected was correct).

Tried to install it tonight and it seems to be too short. This after I fought to get it passed between the A/C and alternator (ugh... next summer when I decide the A/C isn't all it's cracked up to be I will remove it).

This is what it looks like:

Would call Pelican and ask, but I figure pics pretty much explains it. Besides, I'm not sure that I'm not just supposed to "stretch"
the hose to fit.

Thanks, Gordo

I just placed mine back on and it looks just like yours. Although, I do not have an A/C.

I just ordered mine as well. I had to phone to confirm these hoses as well as the one from the blower. The pictures show the same part, so I had to ask how to tell which blower hose I had.

I think you wanted the one that's 720mm (the longest one you can choose) for the A/C car.

I hope I get the right ones...

I had the same problem - the hose was too short. If you caarreefullly stretch it out, you can get it to fit.

I didn't know that Pelican sold a longer one.
