Air Ride

Has anyone installed air ride suspension on their 911?

Have seen it done on 964's, nothing on a torsion bar car. I absolutely despise the way air ride cars ride, even a nice installation was too bouncy for my taste.

Just convert to coilovers then replace springs with bags. See, with enough money you can do anything.

I could be wrong, but air ride is really light regarding unsprung weight, and Ride Tech has strive for great handling.

Dad has it on his 51 Studebaker.

My friend is at SEMA and found a company that may have the systems for our 911s, this one you can operate via an app on the IPhone Ill keep you posted.

Many of the 911s you're seeing at SEMA are using AirLift suspension. It's pretty common these days especially on RWB cars.

Looking at their site they don't offer them for Porsche's.

I don't care for the look myself, but to each his own I suppose. Just haven't seen anyone make a low-rider 911 before, but there's a first time for everything!
