Air Ride

Has anyone installed air ride suspension on their 911?

Have seen it done on 964's, nothing on a torsion bar car. I absolutely despise the way air ride cars ride, even a nice installation was too bouncy for my taste.

Just convert to coilovers then replace springs with bags. See, with enough money you can do anything.

It would be very interesting to see a tech article on how they managed to do this! Notice how the camber is not affected.

This one was on Gas Monkey.
Driving down the street it was banging off the street about every 10 secs.
Yeah....seriously cool, these low ultra cars. Not

I could be wrong, but air ride is really light regarding unsprung weight, and Ride Tech has strive for great handling.

Dad has it on his 51 Studebaker.

Many of the 911s you're seeing at SEMA are using AirLift suspension. It's pretty common these days especially on RWB cars.

Super! good for RWB, should be fine for Juan. lol

Looking at their site they don't offer them for Porsche's.

I don't care for the look myself, but to each his own I suppose. Just haven't seen anyone make a low-rider 911 before, but there's a first time for everything!
