1987 911 Targa speaker in pillars?
I have a 1987 911 Targa and it almost looks as though there could be a place for speaker in the Targa pillars... is this correct or is it only a four speaker set up?
Also, I just bough the car and I think all the speakers are shot. Should I just buy new speakers or is there another option to remedy this? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: Porsche 911 Stereo Installation | 911 (1965-89) - 930 Turbo (1975-89) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article |

I don;t recall if there were some mounted there. I opened a post in our forums. A Pelican community member may be able to answer your question.

There's no speakers in there. The holes that look like they could be speaker holes are for ventilation.
