So that's who TRE is looking for a motor for. It's a shame I just sold mine Sat. Though it will still be going to a good home

And just think, no more right turns or braking or much shifting. You gotta love NASCAR.

HAHHA! I think it's a pretty cool Idea if we all posted a small pick of ourself under our names it would sort make us know oneanother better .. if we ever gather up you kinda feel like ya know the people more. pretty cool Jack I say leave it .. and use the time you would have spent on changing it on getting us some more pic's of that black monster yer making! hahahaha !

I do kinda like the pic of yerself under the name .. would be a bad idea for more us to do it..

Porsche Crest Inflated Beauty- Taking the place of his ex-

The power-to-weight ratio would be great, but as for aerodynamics.........

The avatar picture of me and the car is one I snapped right before the last run at Laguna in BB1. It's the last picture of the car from before it crashed, and the last moment of what had been -- up until that final run -- a great day of driving.

Finally, Jack admits his fascination with things that inflate.

Hmmm, I wonder if Jack has experimented with helium? Might reduce unsprung weight a tad if he filled his tires with it...and gosh, the car on the lift wouldn't need a lift...

I was actually hoping for a real "update", Jack! Any more news?

No new pictures, unfortunately. Body parts are all getting fitted, currently, and paint is next.

Then, the cage goes in, as well as the suspension, power train, fire suppression, additional elctrical, new brake system, etc.

My hat goes off to Dave at TRE (that's him in the photo) and Pelicanite Tyson Schmidt, both of whom have a very big job ahead of them -- and a very-eager-to-be-driving-again customer.

Hey, Jack - somebody sprayed the lense of the earth-cam with primer! Is BB2 still in there?

Yeah, there's some problem with the software, or his computer, or something. Fortunately, Kevin's devoting more time to painting the car than he is to fixing the camera. I'll try to get some pictures of the current state later this week.

I'd have thought Tyson was too enthralled with the, ahem, "attractions" of the L.A. area to do any actual work. Just remembering the first time he arrived there, took a look. Tyson, are you becoming another jaded L.A. guy when it comes to girls?

What I want to know is WHERE was TRE when he got that blow-up model?

TRE are you a closet NASCAR fan just waiting to be found-out? Get help before it's too late. The only cure is total immersion therapy. 24 hours straight of Porsche Supercup racing while being pelted with empty miller light bottles by Nascar fans...
