DP is a well known company with good reputation. They would have no reason to claim anything they can't hold. So far I have sourced only one CF part from them, the tunnel cover. Excellent quality. Wallet permitting, it is tempting to get all the CF parts for the rear from them. Only thing is, I live in a city, the smallest hit even at a parking lot will be very expensive...

![]() More balanced from the other side with the ducts running there. Aren't they on both sides? I had the idea to do this on my G-model. Is this the results from only removing the rockers? |

The oil lines only run on the right side. And yes, this is the result of removing the side rockers.

Bumping an old thread and an awesome car.
Does anyone know the color of this car? I didn’t see it in the articles. Also is there a US distributor for these light weight parts? They make the only fiberglass repro of the factory valance I’ve seen. I’d be interested in a set of those mirrors too.

The mirrors may be these from Ruf. I have them on my car and they are asymmetric.. https://ruf-automobile.de/en/product/ruf-sportspiegel-kit-2/

as far as i know, the colour is Felsengrün metallic (699). You can also become the mirrors at dp motorsport. Here is a link: https://www.dp-motorsport.de/31.html?L=1&detailid=1122&product=52 I had these mirrors too. Mounted them on the little side window with one component adhesive. |

I found the parts catalogue here Porsche 911 G-Modell Karosserieteile one could go crazy with all those weight saving bits. I was more curious if there was a distributor in the US that stocked dp products. Ian, Thank you for the link to the RUF mirrors, they look similar to the ones from dp but are quite a bit more expensive.

Yes, color is 699. I tried emailing them a couple times but no response. I’m in Leverkusen often for work, I think next time I’ll just drop by.
I like this build by them but personally my favorite build they’ve done is the Superlight RSR. 850kg and 292hp iirc. And that Ti exhaust drool ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ian,

Are the DP ones asymmetric? Very happy with mine though, plenty of visibility and adjustment, plus a noticeable decrease in wind noise over the flags. As a result the car is much faster...... Ian |
