Are gauge needles available for purchase?
Well after I did a perfect job of restoring my gauges I was putting the rpm back together and a tiny err was made. Now my rpm needle is bent. I "straightened" it but it doesn't look perfect. Grrrr...
For those who want to restore their gauges I'll say that it's pretty easy. Just don't accidentally catch the needle on anything. ![]() My question is: can I swap out the needle and can I buy only a needle new, as opposed to buying another rpm gauge and swapping the needle? Thanks! ![]()

I stripped the bezels, then re-painted. They were really rusty. Painted the needles. Polished the glass inside and out. Used a dry brush to get 48 years of dust. Turned out really well.

The poor lighting makes it look much better. I will call them but I doubt they'll sell 'em without me sending the gauges in for service. I asked them to sell me needle paint and they wouldn't do it.
