Need Help Identifying Wires/Plugs please

Background info-'87 targa, too many previous owners and yet everything works in the car. Central locks from both doors and console button, blowers etc. A/C compressor and condenser was removed by me as the system was inop at the time of purchase a few years ago. Blower fan for A/C does NOT work. These plugs are in the frunk, drivers side near the shock for the hood. Blue tape added by me to highlight.

Nothing readily apparent, no other matching plugs or wires. But I haven't dug too deep yet. Just hitting op the collective brain trust before I start ripping thru things. Thanks in advance.

Here's one.

I don't know about the solid white wire.

Best,

Gerry

Does the T shaped connector have one brown wire and one yellow with a thin white stripe? If so it's for the intensive washer system. If your car doesn't have this option that connector is unused.

Yup, if so, that would be it.

My 81 was a lease car. Four doctors, an Amoco engineer and a lowly accountant (me) is the ownership string.

If you are talking about the headlight washer system, explosive is a more accurate term.

Please forgive. Three beers in and just rambling.

Side Marker, as in the European front fender mounted lamp? If so, that makes sense as my car is US all the way and does not have those lamps installed.

Thanks so much!

I guess I'll have to eat a little crow. I have never tested my windshield washer. Is there a standard and intensive system? Or is the intensive system the headlamp washers? If so, I don't have those either so that would make sense this wire isn't connected.

I'll check more closely for the color of the wire next time I'm at the storage unit, and check for windscreen washer operation.

Thanks so much!

Yes the intensive washer system is just the headlight washers. So that connector is unused.
