What's behind the rear bulkhead?

Can I safely drill into the vertical bulkhead below the rear seat cushions? My '74 has the lower luggage strap bracket there and it's held in by two short bolts, but I'm thinking this might be a good place to install a fire extinguisher mount. Anything behind there I need to worry about?

Same here, got longer screws and fastened the extinguisher to the luggage strap bracket. Although the screws are kind of small, and I've worried a bit that in an accident they might let go and I'll have the extinguisher bouncing around the interior.
