Where does cruise control wiring enter engine compartment

Good morning,
Just for the sake of tinkering, I am considering reinstalling my cruise control system in my 84. The brain is present, and I have the tempostat and cable in a box. I cannot see the electrical cable that connects to the tempostat. I have a general idea where to look, but I don't see it. Does anyone have a picture or any guidance.
Thanks, and Happy New Year,
Dave

Found it. There was a black cable with green and white wires under the engine sound pad. It seems to enter midway between the rear shock towers.
Unfortunately mine is missing the connector.
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, here is pic of my 87. I have removed the heat tube & motor & installed block off plate. I don't really need that much heat in Texas. My cruise control cable was broken at the end-where it connects to throttle body. I've removed the entire system, you can see the vacuum block off & electrical connection. I've taped over the connection to keep debris out of the plug. Somewhere in that area is the connection for the heater fan. Hope that helps.

Now to reinstall and troubleshoot the system.

Dave
