Not sure what this is for?

I was hoping someone knows what this is,i believe its off a 356 or 912.

I thought it might be a oil tank out of a 356?but i just eeally dont know

Does the sportomatic include a vacuum accumulator among its many tricks?

912/356 don't have power brakes, so not for that (not that an accumulator was used on the 911s when they got the vacuum assist).

I removed the Sporto pages from my factory manual, so I couldn't look it up. I knew someone would know, though!
