You'll need to specify the diameter.
BTW - The rears sound a bit narrow for a turbo flare. If it is a 3 piece wheel you can get different barrels to adjust that.

Agree - wheels are too narrow for the widebody - or you will need big spacers to get the tires out to the fender . . .

We are running Hoosier R7 245/40/17 front and 315/35/17 rear on 9" and 10.5" 17" rims with
spacers both front and rear . . . and the 245 R7 is almost the same width of a 275 . . .
And, we do have some inside rubbing on tight lock-to-lock turns- no damage to tire or car body

All the best on your project . . .

Regards,

Agreed, here's my 87 with turbo flares. My fronts are slightly different;
Front, 17"x9" 255/40ZR17 a slight rub ( no damage) at tight wheel lock out
Rear, 17"X11.5" 315/3535ZR17

Wrong question. Tire size is related to wheel width. You can only go so wide on the tires, probably a 225 width on the front and a 245 width on the rear. Check with the tire manufacturer for their recommended wheel sizes.

For filling the flares, consider the wheel offset and spacer width. You're probably stuck with the offset you have, unless you have 3 piece wheels and are willing to modify them. Spacer width will be determined by what offset you have.

The factory widebodies ran 7s & 8s. Either run a spacer or get a different offset using a different size wheel barrel.

Take a look at the specifications listed on various mfg. 16" Tire Charts on the Tire Rack site and they'll list the min and max rim width for each tire size. The charts also include tread width and section width as well.

To me, easy answer would be 225/50 front, 245/45 rear. I think factory Turbos ended with 205/55's front, 245's rear, but 205's on a 7.5-inch rim might be a little tight.

Hope this helps…
