I purchased on of those from Fabiani for my 3.2. I left it on the engine I sold it to Timmins when he did the 3.6 transplant.
It was a complete POS, the latches were junk and it was really hard to fit on the airbox. DO NOT waste your money, unless of course it is for looks only. All it does is increase the air "sound" you hear rushing into the engine. It couldn't have more than $1.50 worth of material in it. My $.02 |

I still want to design an airbox for the CIS cars.
I'll use "real" carbon fiber and after looking at the picture of the Fabspeed job, I think i can make one "look" better too. A buddy and i are really starting to hit the "Carbon fiber" knowledge Curve pretty hard. He's been ordering books and stuff. I ran out of epoxy/hardner so we ordered another gallon. We are still learning on real basic parts, but sooner or later, We'll get around do doing an airbox. I think this design i drew would work pretty well: (The one on the bottom, for the sake of simplicity) ![]()
