is it a 2 piece upper spring seat that's missing the other half and the bearing?

Upper Front Spring Seat w/Thrust Bearing, 2.25" ID (pr)

here's what the 1 piece should look like:

No freaking clue dude. My 930 has kit from Rebel / Clint and I remember assembling those parts you just posted. This pos kit doesn't have. My fault I guess for not opening the box till now, 11 months after buying.

You need a top hat or bushing that fits into (or against) the monoball so that it moves with it while holding the spring away from the top mount that's bolted to the chassis. You can't just rest the top hat on that top chassis mount or you won't have the freedom of motion needed.

Not sure where you got it from but on my race car I had Ground Effect make some for me to fit with a camber plate.

You need that spacer under the monoball to load the bearing. If the top hat is hitting the mount, the bearing won't articulate and the shock shaft can fail. Super common failure when people get that stack up wrong.

The bearings can't rest on the spring like that either. The bearings are sandwiched between the top spring hat and spacer. Like the first like that Cory posted.
