Engine serial number help

Inherited my fathers 1977 911s a few years back. According to him the engine is out of an SC. 3.0. Finally got around to looking for the serial number to confirm. 6391405. 3 liter out of a 79'? Thanks in advance.

My book doesn't say specifically what year it's out of, but very good chance it is 79. It's a 3.0 produced from Aug 78-July 79 from a 911 SC.
