I'm browsing the PP BBS over the Atlantic Ocean
Hi Pelican-heads,
I'm on an international flight, right now over the Atlantic Ocean while making this post (and a few other responses). Pretty cool high speed internet access on this Lufthansa 747-400. I've got Wayne's 101 Projects book here, too, for when I get tired of surfing. Hopefully there's enough Porsche or PP content to keep this from the OT scrap heap! ![]()

Saw where they just added this feature. Sure sounds nice! Whats the cost?

Today it's free. It'll probably stay that way for a while so they can get us hooked on it. I don't know what they'll end up charging but you can imagine how handy it'll be for business travelers to connect to their company intranet. Performance today is quite good. I wonder how it'll be once it's commonly in use by airline passengers. Well, back to surfing PP!

55C (the cheap seats). The only thing that bites is trying to use my notebook PC while the person in front of me is in full recline mode, forcing me to operate with the PC half closed. Throw in some serious turbulence and it's a real PIA.
BTW, I'm only in Germany long enough to switch planes and head to my final destination. Sorry I won't be able to bring back any P-car loot.
