Help Identifying Wires

Hello All,

Hoping someone can help identify these wires I found dangling on left side of engine? I have looked at everything within wires reach and can't figure out where they go, only other two wires I see disconnected are on the blower but they connectors are completely different????

First and foremost, what year is your 911SC?

I am guessing that this is MY 1980-1981 since your fuel lines are not steel and by the looks of your Warm-up Regulator. But, still need to know what year your car is and what engine do you have in it? For example, 930/04 or 930/16 ?

Also, what color are the wires you are holding in your hand? Are they Red with white and a Brown wire? This may go to your WUR (Warm-up regulator) but the connector(s) do not look correct for the usual WUR connection.

Not sure of your year but the wires you're holding look like the wires that go to the thermo-valve connector.

Here is a pic of my car. The black connector was partially broken so I had to zip tie the wires so they wouldn't fall out.

Thermo vacuum switch connection missing the plastic case. The red/white wire is energized when running.
If your car is not a 78/79 or euro model SC tape them up so they don't touch each other and tuck them out of the way. If your car has the thermo vac switch, hook them up. (PM me for the correct connector for body)

Hi guys,

It's a 1980 SC, the wires are red/white stripe and brown so i think its safe to assume they are for a therm vac switch which i don't think my 80 has so I will tape ends and tuck away.

Now this might be a stupid question but shouldn't that fan blower have a wire connected to it, can't find a wire or cable under the lid at all?

Looks like the missing heater wires/connector are tucked away behind the blower mount, look at the lower right of the picture
