What's your all time favorite sounding 911?

I'm always a fan of the sounds of air cooled 911's. I ran across some good ones on YouTube recently, including the one below and wanted to ask you all what your favorite sounding 911 is to date - this could be yours or not. We have a fun best sounding Porsche thread going right now that you can check out HERE, but let's keep this specific to 911's. What exhausts have you run (stock or aftermarket) or currently run that are or have been your favorite so far? If you have videos or pictures, share them in your post. Let's make this one of the best sounding threads.

Fabspeed exhausts can be found here for those interested in what is available for their P car: Pelican Parts - Performance Products

invariably, I would simply say 'mine'

the best one I owned was a big port 3.0 with weber 46's and a custom dual outlet exhaust with big pipes custom made by TRE.

otherwise, the 2in-2out 911R style muffler on my 2.7, twin plug MFI motor sure sounds sweet. Come to think of it, the M&K on my 3.0 CIS motor sounded pretty good, too. Subsequent owner said it was too loud, took it off and sold it....regretted it and then put a similar M&K muffler back on.

so, I'm in with a 2-in, 2-out M&k

That would be my answer.

964 cams and SSIs help, but I loved it before then.

Mine also! Back when I still had the stock 2.7 in my car, I installed a set of George's headers and a pair of Supertrapps modified to run 18 discs in lieu of the standard 12. The sound was glorious. I even had non-car people tell me it sounded great (if not a little loud).

My current setup is SSIs and a Dansk sport. I don't love it. I also have a Triad and like the exhaust "note" but it is way too quiet.

930 with a larger turbo and a straight through muffler. Nice turbo whine combined with the flat 6 fury.

I know this thread is really an ad for Fabspeed since they are carried here, but don't forget the Bizmoto Pulse Chamber

This is pretty much the sound s5uewf descriped

WOT at the beginning and at the end. The rest is just slow cruising with turbine whine and popping.

My old 993 C2S with Fister 2 mufflers was the sweetest sounding Porsche you could ever want.

No ad, if you click the link it goes through our performance section that lists much more than just Fabspeed.

Keep them coming ladies and gents! The more video clips the better.

Is it because I've been drinking Jameson's all afternoon and missed the obvious, but c'mon guys, the answer is: "Mine!" Jeez, I crack myself up.

My buddy Aaron's '73S.

Just... wow. The sound of high performance, from the coughing angry wtf-woke-me-up start to the raw metallic shriek of WOT-at-the-top-of-third.

This one accents the flat 6 sound nicely in my opinion.

One of my cars sounded a lot like this first car.

There is another similar car at 1:50

No Cup has PDK, they are all proper straight cut gear, dog ring engagement, sequential transmissions. That's why they sound cool, full throttle ignition and fuel interrupt shifting.

MY 997RS
Right there with it is any build 2.7 with open exhaust. The overrun and noise on gear shifting is just perfect.

Yeah, I meant 991GT3 or late Cup

Spyrex's 997GT3RS is right up there too.

I still don't think the latest cups are PDK (as in the technical definition of it). But they are full automated paddle shifter setups. Hollinger I think is one commonly used. (not sure what is OEM).
The 997 cups had that sequential bang-bang shifter that those who have them "joke" is $50 a shift. I don't think they are joking.
