Porsche Crest Help !

Hi guys,I have removed my 86 3.2 engine and sold it,I need to remove the engine wire harness,I did ok untill I got to a"cross roads" ,I removed the harness from the engine bay all the way into the cab.I got the DME removed also,my delema is that the harness splits right inside the seat rail mount and a section goes towards the dash area! Question! : Do I cut it here -the forwards going part of the harness ?
NOTE : I'm droping a 3.6 L in it and don't want to jeopardise my set up and on the other hand I want to give the buyer a complete and usable harness !
Any suggestions as of where to make the cut ?
I appreciate any and all the help !

Years ago I put a 3.2 into my '80SC. The 3.2 came with the complete harness, including the part that goes up front. Those wires as I recall just go to the fuse block, battery and also to the instrument cluster (tach and maybe others). As I recall, installing the cables wires was not too difficult. Do your buyer a BIG favor and trace out/remove those wires and give him a complete harness. Your 3.6 harness will come with a similar harness and you will need attach the wires in mostly the same places. Just be carefull when you hook up the tach and don't attach the tach wire (purple) to the UPSHIFT terminal, as that will burn up your ECU!
