Rough Idle after sitting for 2 weeks

I usally drive the car more often. but things have been real busy here (wife is due with our first child in about 3 weeks).

While dirivng to work today I notice a rough idle and it almost sounds like it might be missing. It has done this once before and after letting it warm up to operating temp and then drive it for awhile it went away.

The car is a stcok 3.2 in an 86. It does not leak any oil and does not really use that much either. Could this be a sign that the valve guides are leaking and fouling the plugs?

Bill

Nope,

Just lonely .

My car is the same way. If she does not get driven weekly, she spends the next 100 miles idling roughly to remind me of the lack of attention.

How wet or humid has it been there?Possibly moisture in the dist. cap?I wouldn't worry about it,put in a tank of gas and run her hard for a bit,you both will enjoy it!

Run a bottle of Techron thru her (the car, not the wife) I couldn't drive mine for a month or so when I had knee surgery, and it ran like crap because of it. Ended up replacing a couple of injectors.

Thanks guys. I drove it for a good bit yesterday and pretty hard some and it ran perfect. So maybe it is just mad, guess Iwon't let it sit this long.

What was I thinking???
