I just ordered the Toyo R1R in 205/50/15 & 225/45/15 for my 7 & 8's.

These sizes and brand / series were recommended by the venerable Bill Verburg on this forum

^^^

I'm guessing the same sizes I had to go with.

225/50/16 & 245/45/16. I think Bridgestone and Hoosier are the only other choices left in these sizes.
But 16" Sizes don't help you

You could also use 250/45 x15 woith a matching front of course. The searches don't always come up w/ all the available tires, sometimes because they are new tire lines or sometimes because they tires aren't sold by that particular vendor

For a track tire RA1 or Trofeo R seem to be among the better choices for a street tires Toyo R1R is a new street line

The car now has 205-50-15 in the front and 225-50-15 in the rear. The sidewalls are a little squishier than I'm used to so I have to play with pressures.

Way quieter than the 20? year old Yokohama Advans that were on there... and yes I know better than to run old tires.

Can you please post a pic when you get them on the car? I am in process of refinishing a set of 7/8 X 15's and can use some inspiration.
