I'm in doubt,
What colour should I use for the targa bar logos? 1973 original was gold? But I think black will go better with the RSR-look? |

Targa bar polish and brush
Hi, nice project you have going. When I purchased my Targa the bar was polished but i really like the brushed look that you have. Could you please describe how you got that beautiful even finish?
Thanks

Hello Wade,
I took it to my local metal working company, they polished it on a big wire wheel. I polished the targa bar logo's and painted them in Rust-oleum hard hat flat black ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Can anyone provide me with the correct height for the long hood
hood emblem? ![]() |

Uncertifiable!!!
|
Exactly 6 5/8” from hood lip to tip of emblem (ex rubber gasket) with tape laid completely flat. Pic for demonstration only as I only have two hands. Factory longhood.

Front bumper finished
![]() ![]() now I need to drill some holes in the latch panel and inner fender to guide the oil lines. with the G-style front bumper there was enough room to accomodate the oil lines. this room is gone now due to the backdate and long hood. |
